Digital Content Producer
Sept 2023 – Present
Each day brings a dynamic mix of tasks, starting with updating NewsNation's digital platforms, including the website, app, email, and social media channels, with breaking news and daily topics. I'm continuously brainstorming and pitching story ideas, aiming to develop multiple angles on a single news topic, all while adhering to our mission of unbiased reporting. Creating digital-first content and original reporting is another key responsibility, differentiating our brand from competitors. I also focus on optimizing audience engagement by packaging content effectively and leveraging data to make informed content decisions. Lastly, I ensure our content reaches a wider audience by clipping broadcast segments for publishing across all digital platforms and social media channels while implementing SEO best practices.
